SBCAN youth fund success

We are delighted to share the success of our Youth Climate Action Fund, which supported 33 projects led by or for young people across the region. We were blown away by the number of applications and the incredibly high standard of ideas submitted. It was a highly competitive process, reflecting the passion, creativity, and commitment of young people to climate action in their communities.

We’re particularly encouraged to see a wide mix of schools, third sector organisations, and youth-led groups getting involved – with a number of collaborative projects bringing together two or more groups to strengthen impact and reach.

We’re really excited to see these projects come to life throughout 2025 and look forward to sharing their progress and achievements as they develop. We will be updating our website with good news stories as the projects get going so you will be able to read more about them on this page here!
