Calling all farmers, crofters and landworkers - join Borders 2045 Farming Cluster now!
SBCAN, as part of Borders Farming 2045, is delighted to be one of the regional clusters in a new nationwide farmer-led learning network. Farmer Cluster Connections will build a coordinated, facilitator-led network of farmer clusters across Scotland, linking eight regional hubs to accelerate the exchange of knowledge, skills, and innovation in sustainable and regenerative agriculture.
The scheme will:
Support strong local farmer groups by providing practical, skilled facilitation and farmer-led learning that responds to local needs.
Connect facilitators across Scotland so they can share what works, avoid duplication, and support farmers consistently.
Make it easier to hear about and learn from farmer-led innovation through stories, podcasts, webinars and events led by farmers themselves.
Build long-term capacity by rooting facilitation skills in trusted local organisations that farmers already know and work with.
This project has been developed by Propagate's Regenerative Farming Network, and is supported by funding from the Knowledge Transfer Innovation Fund.
The following regional clusters will be coordinated by local partners including Southern Uplands Partnership, Carse of Stirling Partnership, East Lothian Climate Hub, Highland Good Food Partnership, and Propagate:
