And the green award goes to…

Fantastic to see the hard work of Bright Green Nature’s Junior Rangers group recognised at the LEAD awards yesterday, with the Junior Rangers taking home the Green Award! SBCAN was delighted to sponsor the Green Award again this year.

Junior Rangers are a group of children, aged 9–15, based at The Haining and Deer Park in Selkirk. Over the past 18 months, they have carried out biological surveys, organised community events, run their own stalls at Bright Green Nature’s BioBlitz, and contributed to a wide range of environmental projects.
