Active TRavel Links- Forum August 2025

Active Travel Links (ATL) is a voluntary forum for members of statutory, community and business organisations interested in working collaboratively to improve the active travel options and network for locals and visitors in the Scottish Borders

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary at our August meeting with a delicious lemon drizzle cake from Café Recharge.

We were delighted to welcome Margaret Teale from MS Borders, with a presentation and discussion around her work to bring Trampers (off-road mobility scooters) to the Scottish Borders.

The main part of the meeting was focused SBC’s Draft Active Travel Strategy with a Q&A discussion with their new Active Travel Officers Kerstin and Charlie.

We wrapped up with updates from the organisations present, it was inspiring to hear about the fantastic Active Travel projects happening across the Borders. To find out what’s happening near you, visit the Green Map on our website
