Trees: Management and making best use of your timber resource

Join Integrating Trees Network for an informative and engaging evening discussing how to manage your trees to create a quality product.

We’ll hear from Phil Knott, Wildlife Croft, Skye and Ellinor Dobie, Abbey Timber, Abbey St Bathans. They’ll discuss ongoing tree management, including weed control, pruning, coppicing, thinning and chipping.

What are your options? Saw logs, on-farm use, or selling to your local sawmill or furniture maker.

We’ll also have an introduction to the Association of Scottish Hardwood Sawmillers (ASHS) and touch on felling permissions and the harvesting and processing grant. We’ll be joined by staff from Scottish Forestry too.

This event is free. Reserve your spot today.
