Borders Organic Gardeners Potato Day and Green Fair is one of the biggest potato days in the country and very possibly the longest running. With 80 varieties of seed potato on offer including heritage and newer there is something for every tattie enthusiast. The selection ranges from more traditional heritage varieties to newer species developed for yield and disease resistance. There is always a selection of organically produced seed, not to forget the onions and shallots. But the Day is not only for gardeners, bring the whole family to browse a range of green stalls, participate in kids’ activities and lunch at the café.
