Citizen Science: Introduction to Recording & Pond Invertebrates -
Ever wanted to be a part of scientific research, but didn't know where to start? Come along to a free introductory-session on biological recording where we'll show the how, why, where and when of recording, followed by the opportunity to use sweep netting to put these skills to practice. We'll then move on to pond dipping, where we will dive into the world of pond invertebrates.
This citizen science training is part of Nature Networks: Climate, an activity which is supported through the Scottish Government's Climate Engagement Fund. This is a climate engagement project run by Bright Green Nature, SBCAN and The Selkirk Hill Group to raise awareness of the local impacts of climate change.
This event will be held at Selkirk Hill, please meet at the Argus Centre.
